China plans to build a higher level of public service system for fitness and physical activity, according to a newly released set of guidelines. By 2025, the per capita area of sports venues in China is expected to reach 2.6 square meters, while 38.5 percent of the population will be taking part in regular exercise, according to the document, which was issued by the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council.
