Moses said to Aaron, Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone forth from the Lord, the plague has begun!

Moses said to Pharaoh, The honor is yours to tell me: when shall I entreat for you and your servants and your people, that the frogs be destroyed from you and your houses, that they may be left only in the Nile?

Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

Moses said to the Gadites and Reubenites, Shall your countrymen go to war while you sit here?

Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them get out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies.

Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had befallen them on the journey, and how the Lord had delivered them.
