[KJV] For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

地怎样发生苗芽，园子怎样使所种的生长起来，主耶和华也必怎样使公义和赞美，在万国之前生长出来。 |

[KJV] For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

我们既然多受基督所受的痛苦，就靠着基督多得安慰。 |

[KJV] For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

因为神所降的灾难使我恐惧，因他的崇高我不敢妄为。 |

他用暴风伤害我，无缘无故加添我的创伤。 |

[KJV] For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

罪过媚惑他，因此在他眼中看来，自己的罪孽不会揭发，也不会被恨恶。 |

[KJV] For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

他看见智慧人死去，愚昧人和愚顽人一同灭亡，把他们的财产留给别人。 |

[KJV] For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

他在耶和华面前如嫩芽生长起来，像根出于干旱之地；他没有佳形，也没有威仪，好叫我们仰慕他；他也没有美貌，使我们被他吸引。 |
