[KJV] For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity.

罪过媚惑他，因此在他眼中看来，自己的罪孽不会揭发，也不会被恨恶。 |

[KJV] For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

他看见智慧人死去，愚昧人和愚顽人一同灭亡，把他们的财产留给别人。 |

[KJV] For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

他在耶和华面前如嫩芽生长起来，像根出于干旱之地；他没有佳形，也没有威仪，好叫我们仰慕他；他也没有美貌，使我们被他吸引。 |

[KJV] For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

因为对不行怜悯的人，审判他们的时候就没有怜悯；怜悯胜过审判。 |

[KJV] For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

因为他必站在贫穷人的右边，拯救他脱离定他死罪的人。 |

[KJV] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

如果他们因为认识我们的主、救主耶稣基督，可以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住、受制伏，他们末了的景况，就比先前的更不好了。 |
