NASB：For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city.

NASB：For thus the Lord says to me, Go, station the lookout, let him report what he sees.

NASB：For, behold, the wicked bend the bow, They make ready their arrow upon the string To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

NASB：Gladness and joy are taken away from the fruitful field; In the vineyards also there will be no cries of joy or jubilant shouting, No treader treads out wine in the presses, For I have made the shouting to cease.

NASB：In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following.

和合本：你若将这些事提醒弟兄们、便是基督耶稣的好执事、在真道的话语、和你向来所服从的善道上、得了教育。 |

NASB：Its arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent; The hoofs of its horses seem like flint and its chariot wheels like a whirlwind.
