Then the LORD answered prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.

如此，耶和华垂听国民所求的，瘟疫在以色列人中就止住了。 |

Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

31当时，耶和华使巴兰的眼目明亮，他就看见耶和华的使者站在路上，手里有拔出来的刀，巴兰便低头俯伏在地。 |

Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, Now, I have put my words in your mouth.

于是耶和华伸手按我的口，对我说，我已将当说的话传给你。 |

Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.
