[NIV] They will chop down her forest,' declares the Lord , 'dense though it be. They are more numerous than locusts, they cannot be counted.

[NIV] They will destroy the walls of Tyre and pull down her towers; I will scrape away her rubble and make her a bare rock.

[NIV] They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea.

[NIV] They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

[NIV] They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.

[NIV] They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds.
