[NIV] For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

万军之耶和华既然定意，谁能废弃23呢?他的手已经伸出，谁能转回呢? |

[NIV] For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

11[和合]因为耶和华神是14日头，是15盾牌，要赐下恩惠和荣耀。他未尝留下一样16好处，不给那些行动正17直的人。 |

[NIV] For the Lord has a day of vengeance, a year of retribution, to uphold Zion's cause.

|
8[和合]因耶和华有报仇之11日；为锡安的争辩，有报应之年。 |

[NIV] For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants.
|

|
14[和合]耶和华要为他的百姓伸23冤，为他的仆人后24悔。 |

[NIV] For the Lord your God detests anyone who does these things, anyone who deals dishonestly.

16[和合]因为行非义之事的人，都是耶和华你神所17憎恶的。 |

[NIV] For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redemption has come.

4[和合]因为报仇之3日在我心中，救赎我民之年已经来到。 |

[NIV] For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.

18[和合]他们说37虚妄矜38夸的大话，用肉身的情欲和邪淫的事引诱那些刚才39脱离妄行的人。 |

[NIV] For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.

18[和合]他们叫我和你们心里都30快活；这样的人，你们务要敬31重。 |

[NIV] For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them.

[NIV] For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

6[和合]为此我提醒你，使你将神借我按手所给你的15恩赐再如火挑旺起来。 |

[NIV] For what hope has the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?

8[和合]不敬11虔的人，虽然得利，神夺取其12命的时候，还有什么指望呢? |
