[NIV] For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.

[NIV] For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them.

主耶和华如此说:“起先我的百姓下到8埃及，在那里寄居，又有亚述人无故欺压他们。 |

[NIV] For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

6[和合]为此我提醒你，使你将神借我按手所给你的15恩赐再如火挑旺起来。 |

[NIV] For what hope has the godless when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?

8[和合]不敬11虔的人，虽然得利，神夺取其12命的时候，还有什么指望呢? |

[NIV] For what mortal man has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived?

凡属血气的，曾有何人听见永生神的声音从火中出来，象我们听见还能存活呢? |

[NIV] For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

9[和合]因为在你那里，有16生命的17源头；在你的18光中，我们必得见光。 |

[NIV] For you have upheld my right and my cause; you have sat on your throne, judging righteously.

4[和合]因你已经为我伸5冤，为我辨屈；你坐在宝座上，按公义审判。 |

[NIV] For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.

3[和合]因为你要向左向右开展，你的4后裔必得多国为业，又使荒凉的城邑有人居住。 |

[NIV] For you, O Lord , are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods.

|
9[和合]因为你耶和华至19高，超乎全地；你被尊崇，远20超万神之上。 |

[NIV] For your arrows have pierced me, and your hand has come down upon me.

|
2[和合]因为你的2箭射入我身，你的3手压住我。 |
|
[NIV] For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches.

|
收割之先，花开已谢，花也成了将熟的葡萄，他必用镰刀削去嫩枝，又砍掉蔓延的枝条。 |
