[NIV] Terror and pit and snare await you, O people of the earth.

地上的居民哪,恐10惧、陷坑、网罗,都临近你。 |

[NIV] Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.

8[和合]他们必惊惶悲痛,愁苦必将他们抓住;他们疼痛,好象9产难的妇人一样,彼此惊奇相看,脸如火焰。 |

[NIV] Terrors overtake him like a flood; a tempest snatches him away in the night.

20[和合]惊26恐如波涛,将他27追上;暴风在夜间,将他刮去。 |

[NIV] Terrors overwhelm me; my dignity is driven away as by the wind, my safety vanishes like a cloud.

15[和合]惊17恐临到我,驱逐我的尊荣如风;我的福禄如18云过去。 |

[NIV] That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

因此,在你们中间有好些软弱的与患病的,死的也不少(“死”原文作“36睡”)。 |

[NIV] That is why rural Jews-those living in villages-observe the fourteenth of the month of Adar as a day of joy and feasting, a day for giving presents to each other.

[NIV] The Lord Almighty planned it, to bring low the pride of all glory and to humble all who are renowned on the earth.
