And the people feared the LORD.

And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.

And the people had no idea that Jonathan had gone.

And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah the king of Judah.

百姓就靠犹大王希西家的话，安然无惧了。 |

And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

21百姓回答约书亚说，不然，我们定要事奉耶和华。 |
|
And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.

|
33众人看见他们去，有许多认识他们的，就从各城步行，一同跑到那里，比他们先赶到了。 |
|
And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

|
35百姓站在那里观看。官府也嗤笑他说，他救了别人。他若是基督，神所拣选的，可以救自己吧。 |
|
And the people stood by, looking on. And the rulers also sneered, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, the Chosen One!

|
35百姓站着观看，官长也嗤笑着说，祂救了别人，祂若是神的基督，是那蒙拣选的，就让祂救自己吧！ |
|
And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.
