[bbe] And if we have not, in fact, done this designedly and with purpose, having in our minds the fear that in time to come your children might say to our children, What have you to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?

因为耶和华把约但河定为我们和你们这流便人、迦得人的交界．你们与耶和华无分了、这样、你们的子孙、就使我们的子孙、不再敬畏耶和华了。 |

[bbe] And if you make me an altar of stone do not make it of cut stones: for the touch of an instrument will make it unclean.

|
|
你若为我筑一座石坛、不可用凿成的石头、因你在上头一动家具、就把坛污秽了。 |
|
[bbe] And if, after the mark has been washed, the priest sees that the colour of it is not changed and it is not increased, it is to be burned in the fire: the disease is working in it, though the damage may be inside or outside.

洗过以后、祭司要察看．那物件若没有变色、灾病也没有消散、那物件就不洁净、是透重的灾病、无论正面反面、都要在火中焚烧。 |

[bbe] And in addition you are to give him the first of your grain and wine and oil, and the first wool cut from your sheep.

初收的五谷、新酒、和油、并初剪的羊毛、也要给他。 |

[bbe] And in answer to the men of Judah, the men of Israel said, We have ten parts in the king, and we are the first in order of birth: why did you make nothing of us?

|
以色列人回答犹大人说：「按支派，我们与王有十分的情分；在大卫身上，我们也比你们更有情分。 |

[bbe] And in fear men make public the works of God; and giving thought to his acts they get wisdom.

众人都要害怕，要传扬神的工作，并且明白他的作为。 |

[bbe] And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation.

[bbe] And in the evening let them come back, and make a noise like a dog, and go round the town.
