[NIV] We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away.

[NIV] We are objects of reproach to our neighbors, of scorn and derision to those around us.

[NIV] We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

攻破诡辩,和做来阻挡人认识神的一切高墙,并且把一切心意夺回来,顺服基督。 |

[NIV] We had previously suffered and been insulted in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in spite of strong opposition.

[NIV] We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.

[NIV] We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.

7[和合]我们好象雀鸟,从捕7鸟人的网罗里逃脱;网罗破裂,我们逃脱了。 |

[NIV] We have heard reports about them, and our hands hang limp. Anguish has gripped us, pain like that of a woman in labor.
