[bbe] For go over to the sea-lands of Kittim and see; send to Kedar and give deep thought to it; and see if there has ever been such a thing.

你们且过到基提海岛去察看，打发人往基达去留心查考，看曾有这样的事没有。 |

[bbe] For he has knowledge of our feeble frame; he sees that we are only dust.

因为他知道我们的本体，思念我们不过是尘土。 |

[bbe] For he has knowledge of the way I take; after I have been tested I will come out like gold.

然而他知道我所行的路。他试炼我之后，我必如精金。 |

[bbe] For he has knowledge of their works, overturning them in the night, so that they are crushed.

他原知道他们的行为，使他们在夜间倾倒灭亡。 |

[bbe] For he says to the snow, Make the earth wet; and to the rain-storm, Come down.

他对雪说，要降在地上，对大雨和暴雨也是这样说。 |

[bbe] For he will be a saviour to the poor in answer to his cry; and to him who is in need, without a helper.

因为穷乏人呼求的时候，他要搭救，没有人帮助的困苦人，他也要搭救。 |

[bbe] For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.

因他要为你吩咐他的使者，在你行的一切道路上保护你。 |

[bbe] For if you have love for those who have love for you, what credit is it to you? do not the tax-farmers the same?

你们若单爱那爱你们的人．有甚麽赏赐呢．就是税吏不也是这样行麽。 |

[bbe] For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.

还有片时，恶人要归于无有。你就是细察他的住处，也要归于无有。 |
