[NIV] But Elisha said to him, 'Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you?

[NIV] But God drags away the mighty by his power; though they become established, they have no assurance of life.

22[和合]然而神用能力保全有势力的人;那性命难保的人仍然兴起。 |

[NIV] But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever.

8[和合]至于我,就象神殿中的青11橄榄树,我永永远远倚靠神的慈爱。 |

[NIV] But I will defend my house against marauding forces. Never again will an oppressor overrun my people, for now I am keeping watch.

8[和合]我必在我家的四围安12营,使敌军不得任意往来,暴虐的人也不13再经过,因为我亲眼14看顾我的家。 |

[NIV] But Naaman went away angry and said, 'I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.

乃缦却发怒走了,说:“我想他必定出来见我,站着求告耶和华他神的名,在患处以上摇手,治好这大麻风。 |

[NIV] But after I uproot them, I will again have compassion and will bring each of them back to his own inheritance and his own country.

15[和合]我拔出他们22以后,我必转过来怜悯他们,把他们再带23回来,各归本业,各归故土。 |

[NIV] But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold.

[NIV] But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

[NIV] But do not kill them, O Lord our shield, or my people will forget. In your might make them wander about, and bring them down.

[NIV] But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it,' declares the Lord.
