[bbe] And Jesus, being moved with pity, put his fingers on their eyes: and straight away they were able to see, and went after him.

[bbe] And Joab and his men got him shut up in Abel of Beth-maacah, and put up an earthwork against the town: and all Joab's men did their best to get the wall broken down.

约押和跟随的人到了伯玛迦的亚比拉、围困示巴、就对著城筑垒．跟随约押的众民用锤撞城、要使城塌陷。 |

[bbe] And Joab gave the king the number of all the people: there were in Israel eight hundred thousand fighting men able to take up arms; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand.

|
大卫数点百姓以后、就心中自责、祷告耶和华、说、我行这事大有罪了．耶和华阿、求你除掉仆人的罪孽．因我所行的甚是愚昧。 |

[bbe] And Joab said to the man who had given him the news, If you saw this, why did you not put your sword through him, and I would have given you ten bits of silver and a band for your robe?
|
|
|
约押对报信的人说、你既看见他、为甚麽不将他打死、落在地上呢．你若打死他、我就赏你十舍客勒银子、一条带子。 |
|
[bbe] And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, for we two have taken an oath, in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord will be between me and you, and between my seed and your seed for ever.

|
约拿单对大卫说、我们二人曾指著耶和华的名起誓、说、愿耶和华在你我中间、并你我后裔中间为证、直到永远．如今你平平安安的去罢。 |

[bbe] And Joseph got his carriage ready and went to Goshen for the meeting with his father; and when he came before him, he put his arms round his neck, weeping.

|
约瑟套车往歌珊去、迎接他父亲以色列．及至见了面、就伏在父亲的颈项上、哭了许久。 |
|
[bbe] And Joseph took care of his father and his brothers and all his father's people, giving them food for the needs of their families.
|
|
|
约瑟用粮食奉养他父亲、和他弟兄、并他父亲全家的眷属、都是照各家的人口奉养他们。 |
|
[bbe] And Joshua overcame Amalek and his people with the sword.
|
|
|
约书亚用刀杀了亚玛力王和他的百姓。 |
|
[bbe] And Joshua put up twelve stones in the middle of Jordan, where the feet of the priests who took up the ark of the agreement had been placed: and there they are to this day.
|
|
|
约书亚另把十二块石头立在约但河中、在抬约柜的祭司脚站立的地方．直到今日、那石头还在那里。 |
|
[bbe] And Joshua said to Achan, My son, give glory and praise to the Lord, the God of Israel; give me word now of what you have done, and keep nothing back from me.
|
|
|
约书亚对亚干说、我儿、我劝你将荣耀归给耶和华以色列的神、在他面前认罪将你所作的事告诉我．不要向我隐瞒。 |
|
[bbe] And Joshua said, By this you will see that the living God is among you, and that he will certainly send out from before you the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Hivite and the Perizzite and the Girgashite and the Amorite and the Jebusite.

|
|
约书亚说、看哪、普天下主的约柜必在你们前头过去到约但河里．因此你们就知道在你们中间有永生神．并且他必在你们面前赶出迦南人、赫人、希未人、比利洗人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、耶布斯人。 |
