[NIV] You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.

[NIV] You have made us a byword among the nations; the peoples shake their heads at us.

14[和合]你使我们在列邦中作了笑20谈，使众民向我们21摇头。 |

[NIV] You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.
|

|
45[和合]你使我们在万民中成为35污秽和渣滓。 |

[NIV] You have neither heard nor understood; from of old your ear has not been open.

你未曾听见，未曾知道，你的耳朵从来未曾开通。 |

[NIV] You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts.

[NIV] You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.

12[和合]你使人坐车轧我们的头；我们经过水15火，你却使我们到丰富之地。 |

[NIV] You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

11[和合]因为知道这等人已经背道，犯了罪，自己明知不是，还是去作。 |

[NIV] You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

13[和合]你要在耶和华你的神面前作完全人。” |

[NIV] You overpower him once for all, and he is gone; you change his countenance and send him away.

20[和合]你攻击人常常得胜，使他去世；你改变他的容貌，叫他往而不回。 |

[NIV] You said, 'No, we will flee on horses.' Therefore you will flee! You said, 'We will ride off on swift horses.' Therefore your pursuers will be swift!

16[和合]你们却说:“不然，我们要骑马奔走。”所以你们必然奔走。又说:“我们要骑飞快的牲口。”所以追赶你们的，也必飞快。 |
