[kjv] And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

[kjv] And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

文士和祭司长、看出这比喻是指著他们说的、当时就想要下手拿他．只是惧怕百姓。 |

[kjv] And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.

以色列人起行，在摩押平原，约旦河东，对着耶利哥安营。 |

[kjv] And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

玛拿西的儿子玛吉，他的子孙往基列去，占了那地，赶出那里的亚摩利人。 |

[kjv] And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.

这城邑要归他们居住，城邑的郊野可以牧养他们的牛羊和各样的牲畜，又可以安置他们的财物。 |

[kjv] And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Bethshemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

又达到他泊，沙哈洗玛，伯示麦，直通到约旦河为止，共十六座城，还有属城的村庄。 |

[kjv] And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things.

女子跑回去，照着这些话告诉她母亲和她家里的人。 |

[kjv] And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.

河里的鱼必死，河也要腥臭，埃及人就要厌恶吃这河里的水。 |

[kjv] And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
|

|
那地的金子很好∶那里有红玉和水苍玉（或译∶条纹玛瑙）。 |

[kjv] And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

|
基拉耳的牧人与以撒的牧人争竞，说，这水是我们的。以撒就给那井起名叫埃色，因为他们和他相争（埃色就是相争的意思）。 |
