Methods:RNase P(M1GS-T5) ribozyme was constructed by linking the M1 RNA from Escherichia coli covalently to a guide sequence(EGS) that is complementary to the mRNA coding for UL97 phosphotransferase gene of human cytomegalovirus(HCMV),and was used to cleave the UL97 mRNA segment.
